NOTE that this site is a legacy website now hosted by the Old Town Museum in Old Town, Maine. Nos histoires de l'île was originally set up by Harold Lacadie (1932-2013) as a companion website to the book with the same title published by the Nos histoires de l'île Group in 1999. Only minimal changes have been made to the code, none of which should affect the look and feel of the original site. As noted on the site, some of the pictures are of poor quality or have very low resolution. No attempts have been made to replace these pictures with higher quality copies.
